Wolves Disguised as Sheep is a psychological and spiritual study of deception. The figure, fragmented and partially dissolved into aggressive brushstrokes, embodies the instability of identity when truth is concealed beneath appearances. What is presented as harmless or pure becomes, upon closer observation, a structure of distortion and hidden intent.
Executed through a dense, tactile application of paint, ArNoUx constructs a surface where form struggles to stabilize. The face is not clearly defined; it shifts between presence and erasure, reinforcing the concept of disguise.
