CURATORIAL STATEMENT (English)
“Two-Face” reveals the duality every soul carries inside—the light we show to the world and the shadow we try to hide. Painted in raw strokes of charcoal black, cold gray, and wounded beige, the face splits into two emotional frequencies: one eye fully awake, the other fading into silence.
ArNoUx captures the psychological tension of being human—where faith, fragility, courage, and fear coexist under the same skin. This 9×12 work on cartulina embraces the German Expressionist tradition, distorting form to express truth rather than perfection. It is a confrontation with the self, a mirror where both sides of the spirit speak at once.
