Curatorial Description:
“The Tin of Faith” by ArNoUx transforms an everyday cookie tin into a sacred object — a vessel of devotion and artistic renewal. Painted in acrylic, the tin’s surface becomes a rotating gallery of three figurative portraits, each revealing a different emotional passage: innocence, compassion, and contemplation.
At the top, the phrase “I Love Jesus” turns the work into a declaration of personal faith, fusing art and testimony. The layered brushstrokes — thick, expressive, and luminous — connect to the German Expressionist tradition, where material objects are elevated through emotion and color into spiritual symbols.
This piece stands as a metaphor for preservation: a container of time and love, where art and belief coexist.

Interpretation:
In this painted tin, ArNoUx redefines faith as something handmade, fragile, and luminous — a small altar of hope for modern times.
