Curatorial Description (English):

This miniature magnetic cross features a haunting female figure, painted in dramatic, raw strokes — her face both broken and luminous. She stands at the threshold between color and shadow, expression and silence. Her presence is centered yet elusive.

To her right, a blue cross over white emerges — visually evoking the flag of Finland, yet open to interpretation. It may symbolize purity, solitude, endurance, or the spiritual coldness of exile and hope. Behind her, fiery reds and greens swirl with unspoken memory and emotion.
