In Nature of God, ArNoUx transforms the animal figure into a spiritual messenger suspended between chaos and divine harmony. The bird-like creature emerges through violent gestures of color, instinctive movement, and explosive texture, embodying the idea that all living nature carries fragments of celestial presence.
The work speaks of abundance — butterflies, birds, breath, growth, and the invisible systems of life that Jesus described as sacred manifestations of God’s care. The vivid blues slash across the composition like currents of spiritual energy, while the reds, golds, and blacks create a tension between earthly struggle and divine vitality.
Rather than portraying nature realistically, the artist approaches it emotionally and spiritually through the language of German Expressionism.
