Angels Through the Darkness explores the hidden presence of spiritual companions during moments of despair, uncertainty, and emotional suffering. Emerging from layers of dark gestural brushwork, fragmented faces and angelic presences reveal themselves gradually, suggesting that divine companionship often appears when life seems consumed by shadows.
Created on recycled cardboard originally used for pet food packaging, the work transforms discarded material into a testimony of resilience and redemption. The dense expressionist surface reflects psychological struggle, while the multiple faces symbolize souls searching for comfort, guidance, and meaning.
