Curatorial statement (English):
This 11 × 11 inch acrylic painting explores the symbolic relationship between the vine, the fish, and the angelic presence. Inspired by the vineyard and the grapes transformed into wine during the Last Supper, the work reflects Christ’s covenant, sacrifice, and promise of eternal life. The fish, one of the earliest Christian symbols, emerges alongside the angel as a sign of faith, protection, and spiritual nourishment. Rather than depicting a literal biblical scene, the composition invites contemplation on the mystery of redemption, where earth, water, and the fruit of the vine become interconnected through divine grace.
