At the center of the composition, a mysterious figure resembling a theatrical child or dreamlike toy-maker offers colorful cubes and symbolic objects to a vulnerable expressionist child located in the upper right area of the painting. Stuffed animals, small dogs, toys, and scattered fragments appear throughout the composition as if angels had opened their sacred toy boxes to share them with children in need.
