In “Mysterious Garden Walkers”, the artist transforms an ordinary popcorn box into a symbolic vessel of Expressionist poetry. Painted with thick, visceral strokes of black, pink, silver, and sky blue, the surface becomes a stage where human and animal forms — half-cat, half-soul — wander through a surreal garden.
The composition evokes the German Expressionist fascination with the subconscious and the natural world as a mirror of emotion. The artist’s choice of recycled cardboard reflects both humility and rebellion: a canvas born from daily life, reimagined as spiritual terrain.
Every gesture feels urgent — the scratches, splashes, and blots seem to breathe, suggesting figures in motion, shadows becoming light. This “garden” is both a sanctuary and a labyrinth, a metaphor for the human search for meaning among fragments of color and chaos.
