This intimate vase—unassuming in size but powerful in presence—presents a raw emotional dichotomy. On one side, a grayscale face emerges from layered brushstrokes, its expression unresolved, melancholic, perhaps betrayed. On the reverse, a burst of color reveals a hand-painted rainbow and the word Love—yet the message feels complicated, ironic, even painful.
Titled Love That Doesn’t Care, the piece invites the viewer to confront disillusionment and inner contradiction. Is it about love withheld? Love misunderstood? Or the echo of love that once mattered but no longer holds meaning? ArNoUx expresses all of this through fierce strokes and deliberate abstraction, continuing their exploration of emotional truth in the German Expressionist tradition on glass
