Heaven Witnessing the Ruins confronts the silent tragedy of war through the spiritual lens of German Expressionism. In this 18 x 20 composition, ArNoUx presents a gathering of angelic presences suspended above a collapsing urban landscape — witnesses to the devastation of cities, architecture, and human certainty.
The figures emerge in fragmented layers, their faces marked by contemplation, sorrow, and restrained anguish. They do not intervene; they observe.
