“Faces of the Rebellion” is a visceral, emotionally charged work by ArNoUx, standing as a testament to inner conflict and spiritual upheaval. Dominated by ghostlike faces and abstract tension, the central figure gazes forward with hollow eyes—part witness, part martyr—while fragmented expressions emerge from an explosive background of crimson, cobalt, and sulfur yellow.

The partially obscured word “Lieber”—German for “beloved” or derived from the verb “to love”—hints at a suppressed affection or spiritual longing that has been overtaken by chaos.
