In Caminantes Cristianos en Nigeria, ArNoUx transforms a humble plastic lid into a haunting tableau of faith and endurance. Through thick layers of impasto, three silhouetted figures emerge — walking, carrying, and enduring — against a storm of color and chaos.
The piece evokes the persecuted believers of Nigeria, who continue their journey of faith despite violence and despair. The surrounding ring of vivid color symbolizes the unbroken circle of divine hope — the Spirit that cannot be silenced even amid suffering.
