Vessel in His Hands

Description

Vessel in His Hands
This small cement vessel represents the human being in the hands of God. Like clay shaped by the potter, we are continually being formed, corrected, strengthened, and transformed by Him. The rough surface, irregular edges, and organic textures symbolize the marks left by life—the wounds, changes, and experiences that become part of who we are.
Yet the vessel remains open, ready to receive. Its imperfections are not failures; they are evidence of a process. God does not discard the vessel while He is shaping it. He continues working from within and from beneath, building, molding, and giving purpose to what may still appear unfinished.
The work reflects the biblical image of God as the Potter and humanity as the clay: we are vessels being formed by His hands, each one carrying a purpose that only He fully knows.
