The Angel of Memories explores those intimate moments in which the mind returns to people, places, experiences, and chapters of life that remain deeply embedded within us.
The central figure appears suspended between presence and memory. Her quiet expression evokes nostalgia: that subtle emotional space where remembrance can bring both tenderness and sadness. Around her, intense gestures of color contrast with the muted face, suggesting the movement of memory itself—fragments that arrive unexpectedly, surround us, and awaken emotions we believed had already passed.
For ArNoUx, however, nostalgia is not the final destination. The angel represented in this work comes as a spiritual companion during those moments when memories become heavy. She reminds us that we may honor what we have lived without remaining imprisoned by the past.
Through faith, remembrance can be transformed into gratitude, strength, and forward movement.
The angel does not erase memory; she helps us carry it differently.
