Curatorial Statement
Within a fragmented landscape of shifting forms and dissolving identities, a luminous white angel emerges as a silent guide among the creatures of creation. Human figures, animal presences, and abstract fragments coexist within the same spiritual field, blurring the boundaries between species, memory, and consciousness.
The composition evokes a stage of transformation where all living beings appear interconnected. Dark gestural passages suggest struggle, uncertainty, and the complexity of earthly existence, while the central white figure acts as a beacon moving through the chaos. Rather than dominating the scene, the angel accompanies and gathers, inviting each creature toward a path of light and reconciliation.
The fluid distortions recall the emotional intensity of German Expressionism while introducing a dreamlike quality that approaches spiritual Cubism. Forms overlap, dissolve, and reappear, suggesting that creation itself exists in a continuous state of becoming.
Angel of the Gathering Light reflects the belief that all creatures belong to the same divine order and journey together toward illumination, guided by grace even when the path remains partially hidden.
Bible Verse
“The righteous care for the needs of their animals.”
Proverbs 12:10
