Angels of Impatience confronts a rarely depicted spiritual tension: the unease of waiting within faith. Rendered in a German Expressionist figurative language, the elongated vertical composition compresses multiple angelic presences into a single psychological field, suggesting not hierarchy but simultaneity of emotion.
The faces—unfinished, almost dissolving—hover between revelation and erasure. Their gazes do not align; instead, they drift, searching, questioning, resisting stillness.
