In Angel of Patience, ArNoUx presents an intimate scene within a small format where an angel sits quietly observing the destruction of a rural home — a symbol of the fragile lives of humble people caught in the middle of war.
The angelic figure does not intervene; it watches. Its calm posture contrasts with the surrounding environment, marked by intense colors, spontaneous brush gestures, and splattered paint that evoke the chaos and violence of conflict. The house, partially dissolving into the painterly texture, represents the silent loss endured by the most vulnerable.
